Choosing the right cross-border logistics model

Cross-border logistics transportation methods
Common transportation methods for cross-border logistics are: international express delivery, air transportation, and sea transportation. Next, we will introduce you to these shipping methods in detail, so that you can better choose the right shipping method for your business according to your product attributes and business needs.
International express
International express delivery: refers to an express delivery or logistics business carried out between two or more countries (or regions). When an international shipment reaches the destination country, it needs to be delivered to the destination country before the shipment can reach its final destination. International express parcels are delivered quickly, and the service is excellent, but the price is also relatively high. Common logistics carriers include UPS, DHL Express, FedEx, etc.
Sea transportation
Maritime transport: refers to a method of transporting goods between ports in different countries and regions using a sea channel using a sea channel. Ocean freight includes full sea freight and sea freight consolidation.
● Full shipping container: that is, full container load, FCL for short. It means that there is only one shipper for a full box of goods, and the shipper is responsible for packing, counting, loading, and lead sealing; the common sizes of containers according to international standards are 20'GP, 40'GP, 40'HQ, and 45'HQ;
Shipping consolidation: Less Container Load, or LCL for short. It means that the goods shipped by the shipper are small tickets that are less than a full box. The goods are sorted and sorted through an agent (or carrier), and the goods sent to the same destination are assembled and packed in a certain quantity.
Tips:
Do you choose a full box or a consolidated box?
It depends on the volume of the goods you want to ship. The minimum container type for standard shipping containers is 20 feet. If the size of the goods being shipped is less than 20 m³, it is recommended to use a consolidated container; if it is larger than 20 m³, it is recommended to use a full container.
Shipping generally includes the two forms of “Haika Card” and “Haijia Delivery”:
Haijiaka: First range logistics 1 uses sea transportation, customs clearance in the destination country is carried out through ordinary shipping, and the goods are transported to the warehouse by truck after arriving at the destination port;
Haijiapai: This means that first-line logistics uses sea transportation, clears the destination country through a courier company, and uses a courier or postal vehicle to deliver the goods to the warehouse after arriving at the destination port.
Air transportation
Air transportation: refers to a mode of transportation that uses an aircraft as a means of transportation to transport goods. Similar to sea transportation, air transportation can also be divided into two forms: “Air Canada” and “Air Canada”.
Air plus card: refers to the use of air transport in first-tier logistics, customs clearance in the destination country through ordinary air transportation, and then the goods are transported by truck;
Air delivery: This means that first-tier logistics uses air freight, clears customs in the destination country through a courier company, and then uses a courier or postal vehicle to transport the goods.

Front-end logistics: In all aspects of cross-border logistics, goods are transported from one country to another by sea, land, or air. This process is called front-end logistics.
In the event of force majeure factors, transit times may be delayed to varying degrees, so please contact your logistics carrier in advance for details.
Note:
● It is recommended that you decide on the mode of transportation based on long-term understanding of the volume, weight, amount and properties of the products sold;
● There is no absolute single mode of transportation. At different stages of the product life cycle, such as new product launch, emergency shortage, replenishment, etc., transportation methods may switch between each other;
● In addition to product attributes, production delivery cycle and preparation capital are also important determining factors.
