What is Amazon Global Smart Hub Warehouse (GWD)?
Amazon's Global Intelligent Hub Warehouse (GWD) extends warehousing distribution services to the source of goods, and is an important expansion of Amazon's global supply chain. The first GWD warehouse was established in Shenzhen, China. It covers a one-stop global warehousing distribution service of “warehousing, customs clearance, cross-border transportation and inventory transfer” to help sellers seamlessly connect to the global Amazon distribution network and enable a single inventory pool to supply the whole world in the future. GWD is Amazon's next generation cross-border chain: domestic warehousing. Starting sales is the first step in the global vision — you only need to post product information once, enter the warehouse once, and sell globally from day one. Amazon Smart Satellite Warehouse (AWD) is a warehousing and distribution service where sellers can use Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) or a third-party carrier to transport goods to an AWD warehouse. Amazon will schedule replenishment from the AWD warehouse to the fulfillment center based on sales forecasts. Suitable for US sellers.
