Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate the pricing?
When the seller signs up for this program, the system will automatically help you adjust the prices in Canada and Mexico according to the profit situation of your products in the US, that is, the cost of remote delivery will be automatically added.
I want to join the program, are there any special requirements for seller eligibility?
Yes, you need to meet the three conditions of being a professional seller registered for Amazon Logistics (FBA) on the US site, having a North American joint account for Amazon Logistics (FBA) exports, and opening Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) export settings at the same time to participate in the program.
Will my products receive the Prime badge?
Yes, Prime members can see the Prime badge and enjoy free shipping. For non-Prime members, Amazon will charge shipping.
Why does my Remote fulfillment offer have a shipping cost?
ASINs shipped remotely will show shipping costs in “Manage Inventory.” However, only non-Prime buyers on the Canadian site and Mexico site will see this fee when browsing the detail page, and delivery is free for Prime customers.
Do I need to file taxes in Canada or Mexico?Do I need to have a Registro Federal de Contribuyentes (RFC) number for Mexico or be a non-resident importer (NRI) in Canada?
No. When a buyer purchases a product through remote delivery, the buyer has ownership in the US and is a registered importer of customs, so the buyer (not the seller) is responsible for the import duties, taxes, and related fees incurred when the product crosses borders. Amazon estimates the amount due and adds it to the amount the buyer pays at checkout.
Why does the ASIN Status Report show that the ASIN has no products?
If you created a product on the Canada site or Mexico site, and your ASIN status report shows “If there are no products in the selected marketplace, please create a product”, it may be because your product has a different SKU in the US. To fix this, create a new item with the same SKU as the US ASIN, then check your ASIN status report again after 24 hours.
The ASIN Status report says my offer isn’t valid. Why?
Your product is not valid due to Amazon removing the product from the US site. This can happen for a variety of reasons, including counterfeiting issues, the product being out of stock, or not being licensed to sell. Please check the US product information for possible errors.
How do I handle customer returns?
Remote delivery customer returns are handled in the same way as local FBA returns. The item will be sent back to the US fulfillment center where it will be evaluated. If the returned item is still in sellable condition, it will be re-listed for sale.
How do I get Amazon Brand Registry, graphic product descriptions, and A+ product descriptions for the Canadian and Mexican marketplaces?
If you're new to Amazon Brand Registry 2.0, you can complete the Amazon Brand Registry process for all marketplaces when you sign up for remote delivery. However, if you have completed the Amazon Brand Registry process for the US marketplaces only, you will need to repeat the registration process for the Canadian and Mexican marketplaces.
Can I use Sponsored Products and Lightning Deals for products delivered remotely in the Canadian and Mexican marketplaces?
Yes. Sponsored Products and Lightning Deals are available in the Canadian and Mexican marketplaces.
Why did I get approval for some brands or categories on the US site, but not on the Canadian site or Mexico site?
Sellers must get approval from Amazon before listing in certain product categories. Approval standards vary from site to site, so sellers need to apply separately on which site to sell.
