Connect to your Amazon seller account
Already have an Amazon seller account?Sign in and go to the next step.
If your business is new to Amazon, start by creating an account:
● Create an Amazon selling account and set up Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA)--if you plan to sell on Amazon and also use MCF, this is the best option.
● Create an MCF account - This is the best option if you don't plan to sell on Amazon and just want to use MCF to process e-commerce orders outside of Amazon.

Manage Inventory
Have you already set up inventory in the Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) network? We treat your FBA and MCF inventory as a single pool of inventory. We’ll use this single inventory pool to fulfill your orders on Amazon (using FBA) and orders from e-commerce channels outside Amazon (using MCF).
No inventory on Amazon?Add products to your FBA inventory page, and then follow the steps in "Ship to Amazon" to send inventory to Amazon.
Configure your settings in the MCF App
Map your SKUs
Click App and sign in to connect your Amazon account to Shopify.
To fulfill customer orders, MCF needs to know which Shopify products match Amazon inventory. If your Shopify SKU name matches your Amazon SKU, the App can automatically map your products. For products with different Shopify and Amazon SKU values, search for your Shopify SKU and click the Amazon SKU field to perform a custom mapping.
Enable MCF locations
To enable MCF as your SKU's shipping location, change the inventory location in Shopify settings at the SKU level. You can choose to make changes in the product details for each SKU or by using Shopify’s bulk editor.
To change the inventory location for a single product, go to Shopify's "Products," select the product you want to configure, and then scroll down to the "Inventory" section. In the drop-down menu, change the inventory location to “Amazon MCF (Amazon MCF).” Repeat this process for each SKU you want to switch to MCF fulfillment.
To change inventory locations in bulk, navigate to the Shopify product page, select the products you want to update (or select all products), then click “Edit Products.” On that page, select "Columns" in the upper-right corner, and then add the "Stocked at" column. Once you see the "Stocked at" column in the bulk editor view, toggle that column and set the product location to "Amazon MCF(Amazon MCF)".
If you migrated from the Shopify FBA integration, change the “Inventory managed by” or “Stocked at” field from “Amazon Marketplace Web” to “Amazon MCF” (see screenshot).

Complete this step for each product variant in Shopify (see example).

Set shipping options
At checkout, customers can only see the shipping options you configured on the Shopify settings page. Create a shipping profile for MCF in Shopify Shipping Settings, then set the rates you want customers to see.
In the MCF App, you can map your existing Shopify shipping options to Amazon delivery speeds. On the "Mappings" page, enter the name of an existing shipping option, then select the desired Amazon shipping speed from the drop-down menu on the right. The shipping option name on the “Mappings” page must exactly match the name of your existing Shopify shipping option for MCF to fulfill the order at the correct speed.
In the MCF App, you can map your existing Shopify shipping options to Amazon shipping speeds. On the Mappings page, enter the name of an existing shipping option and select the desired Amazon shipping speed from the drop-down menu on the right. The shipping name on the Mappings page must exactly match the name of the existing Shopify shipping option for MCF to execute the order at the correct speed.
You can also name your Shopify shipping options Standard, Expedited, or Priority on the Shopify settings page, and MCF will automatically match them to our shipping speeds for you.

Configure multiple locations (optional)
The default option is set to a single location. You can use this option when MCF is your only shipping location. If you stock the same SKU at two or more fulfillment locations outside Amazon MCF, you must turn on “Multiple locations” in the MCF App (see screenshot).

After you configure multiple locations, go to Shopify's store location settings, then assign "Location priority," which determines where orders are fulfilled first. If your order is automatically fulfilled, this feature determines where the order is sent for fulfillment (see screenshot

Frequently Asked Questions
Getting started
How do I link my Amazon account to Shopify?
Download MCFApp from Shopify’s App Store, and sign in with your Amazon seller account when the app launches to automatically link your account.
Do I have to manually map all SKUs?
If your Shopify SKU names match Amazon SKU values, then the app automatically maps those SKUs for you. Otherwise, you'll need to enter an appropriate Amazon SKU for each Shopify SKU.
What regions does Shopify's MCF App support?
Why isn't the Amazon delivery option displayed during checkout?
The options that appear during checkout are the ones you configured on the Shopify Shipping Settings page. Create a shipping profile for MCF in Shopify Shipping Settings, then set the rates you want customers to see. If these rates are mapped in the MCF App, MCF will fulfill the order at the corresponding Amazon shipping speed.
Can I prevent my order from being fulfilled by Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA)?
Yes, MCF added an option to prevent US orders from being fulfilled by Amazon, but there is a 5% surcharge. You can prevent Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) from processing all MCF orders by going to FBA settings in your Amazon seller account and then scrolling down to Multi-Channel Fulfillment settings. If there is no alternative carrier, blocking Fulfillment by Amazon increases the risk that orders cannot be fulfilled or may be delivered late. Since sales channels such as eBay and Walmart prohibit the use of Fulfillment by Amazon, you can block this shipping method at the account level in FBA settings.
Does Shopify's MCF App support returns?
Shopify's MCF App doesn't directly support returns. You can process returns through Shopify by following the steps outlined here.
If you'd like customers to send items directly to Amazon, click here for more information on the MCF return process.
Note: Amazon does not cover return shipping costs.

Inventory management
Before using the MCF App, does Amazon need to receive my inventory?
You can download the MCF App and connect your Amazon seller account without sending inventory to Amazon. However, you must set up and send inventory to Amazon before you can map SKUs and fulfill orders.
How do I send inventory to Amazon?
Please refer to our "Ship to Amazon" guide for details on how to inbound inventory.
What is the largest order size MCF can fulfill?
MCF can accept orders of up to 250 units and 100 unique SKUs. For larger orders that exceed the above limits, you can split the order into multiple orders and resubmit to MCF.
Does my Shopify inventory sync with Amazon’s physical inventory?
Once your SKU is mapped, MCFApp will push updated inventory levels from Amazon to Shopify.
My product shows zero inventory, but I know Amazon fulfillment centers have inventory. How do I resolve this issue?
First, make sure you have selected "Track quantity" for the product in Shopify. Additionally, if your products aren't correctly mapped, they may also show zero inventory. Go to the "SKU Mapping" tab and search for your product SKU. Make sure your product is mapped to the correct Amazon SKU. If you have multiple Amazon SKUs for the same product, make sure the SKU you're mapping to has inventory available in Seller Central. After you save the new SKU mapping, your inventory will sync.
How do I use the MCF App to set up automatic fulfillment for Shopify orders?
First, you must designate Amazon MCF as the store's default location. Then, you can enable automatic fulfillment in your Shopify settings. Go to “Settings,” then “Checkout,” and click the radio button for “Automatically fulfill the line items of orders.” Then click “Save.” Once saved, all orders will be automatically fulfilled after they are placed. Click here to learn more about automatic fulfillment.
Does MCF use inbound inventory to fulfill orders?
No, Shopify's MCF App only uses currently available fulfillable inventory in Amazon fulfillment centers to display and fulfill orders. Inbound inventory is not taken into account.
How to resolve product inventory sync issues?
Inventory syncs automatically. If the inventory for a SKU is out of sync with the FBA value, you can switch the “Inventory at” value to a non-Amazon MCF location and click “Save” on the product details page. Then switch the "Inventory location" value back to "Amazon MCF," click "Save," and refresh the product details page. This action will start an inventory sync update within the next 5–10 seconds. If troubleshooting is unsuccessful, contact MCF Support.
Will installing the MCF App for Shopify affect other locations and their inventory?
MCF is an independent delivery service and does not affect or depend on other delivery services. If the “Inventory Tracking Location” value is “Amazon MCF,” then Shopify uses the Amazon MCF location to fulfill orders.
Shipment tracking
Where can I track orders?
In addition to Shopify's order tracking system, if you don't sell on Amazon, you can track your orders in the Supply Chain by Amazon portal; if you sell on Amazon, you can track your orders in Seller Central. You can check the status of your order or manually place a new order.
