Amazon has once again reaped industry awards and won the title of “2017 Best Retail E-commerce”

Amazon highlights its strength
Many of the shortlisted companies are creative when it comes to e-commerce. But in the end, Amazon still relied on its outstanding strength in all aspects, and won the title of “Best Retail E-commerce of the Year.”

Amazon's profit growth of nearly 300% in 2016 is amazing. Internet Retailer has estimated that e-commerce sales in the US will increase 15.6% in 2016. According to data from the US Department of Commerce, Amazon's e-commerce retail sales achieved a 24.9% growth rate in 2016, easily exceeding Internet Retailers' estimates.
The finalists have their own special skills
Internet Retailer's 2017 Award of Excellence is subject to two rounds of judging. A jury composed of Internet Retailer editors and external experts first selected 45 finalists from hundreds of nominees, and then selected the final winners from the shortlist.

Molly Love, CEO of Vertical Web Media, a company with publications such as Internet Retailer, B2BecNews, and Internet Health Management, said the competition for this year's Internet Retailer of the Year Award was intense. “The 45 finalists represented companies of all sizes, from large companies to small companies, and covered different product categories. What they all have in common is that they all invest heavily in online sales and compete for market share in the increasingly competitive e-commerce sector, thereby breaking new ground for themselves.
