In order to help sellers easily operate on various sites around the world, Amazon “Global Selling” has been working to develop intelligent language localization functions, and now the automatic translation function for the Japanese site is officially launched.
The ASIN Localization feature on the Japanese site has translated tens of millions of product information (including appliances, clothing, home improvement, toys, etc.) from Amazon's US site to Amazon Japan. In other words, for these products, Amazon Japan has translated the product information from English to Japanese. For sellers who have already launched in the US and expanded to the Japanese site, they only need to fill in the price and quantity when uploading the product, and do not need to create or translate the product detail page (ASIN) themselves.

Starting in August 2016, once the products you sell on Amazon's US site are translated into Japanese, Amazon Japan will provide you with an exclusive list of products. Please check your mailbox for an email with the following file name. This email provides an exclusive list of products you currently sell on Amazon US from tens of millions of products translated from English to Japanese. So you don't need to search for what you own on your own. This exclusive list allows you to quickly start selling and thus increase sales.

As the year-end holidays approach, Japanese customers have begun to buy various products, and their purchasing power has surged. Now is a good time to increase sales in Japan. Among tens of millions of translated products, Amazon Japan analyzed product recommendation lists for Chinese sellers based on sales volume. Here, you can find products that are popular on Amazon Japan. How can I check this list?

１．Log in to Amazon Japan Seller Central → Performance → Seller University

Method 1. Use the online tools in Seller Central to search for products individually.

Go to the path: Seller Central => Inventory => Add a new product, find the following page, and fill in the blanks in the red box and enter a digital or product name such as UPC.

If the product you have entered has been translated, the “Sell Your” button will appear in the lower right corner of the page. You can click this button. Once you fill in information such as price and availability, you can start selling.

Method 2. Go to the path: Seller Central => Inventory => Upload products in bulk, find the following page, and click the “Product Loader” link in the red box below to download the Excel template to search for products in bulk. To use the Product Loader template, you need to be authorized through Amazon Marketplace Web Services (Amazon MWS). If you're not authorized, you can apply via this link:
You can search for product codes such as UPC in batches in the “Product Loader” Excel template. If the product you entered has been translated, the code for this product will be found in the “Excel Template”. Once you fill in information such as price and availability, you can start selling.
