Four highlights of selecting new tools
1. The model uses industry-leading big data and artificial intelligence algorithms
2. The product selection forecast provided uses more than 600 data dimensions to predict the seller's products in the US and the target marketplace's demand within the next 120 days

4. Update product demand recommendations every 2 weeks to accurately grasp the needs of target marketplaces
Sounds great!Well, seller friends must be wondering 100,000 why: Who can see this product selection tool? How do I check it?How do I use it?The following is a user guide prepared by Xiaobian for you.
Which sellers can see it?
Sellers who meet the following criteria will be able to view:
● The seller is a professional selling account
● The seller has had sales in the US marketplace in the past 12 months
● Products sold by sellers in the US are in demand in target marketplaces (UK, Germany, Japan) according to calculations
● Can be viewed regardless of whether the seller is already selling in the UK, Germany, or Japan
Where can I view the tools?
If the seller meets the above conditions, they can log in to the US Seller Central homepage with their main account and will see the “Global Product Demand” (Global Product Demand) card on the homepage.
The following figure is an example. You can log in to the Seller Central US website with your main account. 54 products have opportunities on 3 sites, namely the UK, Germany, and Japan. Click “Expanding the Product Market Globally” to view the details of the requirements.
How to interpret the tool details page?
The following operation guide is recommended for seller friends to open their Seller Central homepage, which is easy to review and learn!
The tool can be viewed regardless of whether the seller has already sold in the UK, Germany, and Japan. However, once the seller clicks on the Seller Central home page, they will see a slightly different interface.
Once on the “Global Product Demand” homepage, sellers will see the target marketplaces in the UK, Germany, and Japan. As long as the seller meets the requirements listed above, you can see requirements recommendations for the corresponding marketplace.
Example:
If you meet the requirements on the UK, Germany, and Japan sites, you can see the product requirements recommendations from the 3 sites (screenshot below); if you only meet the requirements on the Japanese site, you will see the Japanese site recommendations.
Which product requirements would I see recommended types?
Sellers can see the following 2 types of product demand recommendations:
● ASINs with 0 offers
It refers to a product sold in the US where there is no offer or no one sells it in the target marketplace.
Rationale of reasons: To determine recommended ASINs, Amazon determined a list of high-potential products based on the US product catalog (your past sales performance), and then evaluated 150 attributes based on the destination country's demand signals (such as pageviews, search trends) to provide you with tailored recommendations.
Opportunity Score: The opportunity score represents the demand in the target marketplace and the probability of successful sales. The chance score is generally between 750 and 1000. A perfect chance score of 1000 means that your product is in high demand in the corresponding market and has great sales potential in designated sites. Amazon also provides data on this product in the US to help sellers more clearly see the current condition of the recommended product.
Product Price Offer Price: The price of your online product in the US.
Net Delivery Units: The number of products delivered to the US within the past 12 months.
Fulfilment Channel: Current distribution channel in the US.
At least 1 ASIN that has been quoted
Products sold in the US currently have at least 1 existing offer in the target marketplace, but there is a supply gap.
Rationale: To determine recommended ASINs, we reviewed your US product catalog and determined a list of products with high potential for global expansion. We've assessed 150 attributes based on demand signals such as pageviews, search trends, and your past sales performance to provide you with tailored recommendations.
Opportunity Score: The opportunity score indicates demand and the probability of successful sales in the target marketplace.
Recommended Offer Win Price: The current recommended bid win price for this product in the US.
Product Price Offer Price: The price of your last item in the US.
Glance Views: The number of times your ASIN detail page has been viewed in the US.
I have feedback suggestions during use, how can I tell Amazon?
Seller feedback and support is Amazon's biggest motivator for improving products. Therefore, Amazon has a quick feedback button in the product selection tool. You can select multiple recommendations and give feedback on these recommendations all at once using the feedback button in the upper right corner of the list (next to the update time), or tell Amazon what you think by liking or leaving a bad review next to each recommendation. After clicking in, please follow the prompts to select the one that best fits your thoughts or type in your thoughts directly.
How to use these recommendations?
The steps vary depending on whether the seller's friends have enabled Build International Listing (Build International Listing).
If the seller has enabled the creation of international listings:
You can directly use the “View BIL Link” to check whether information can be synchronized with one click (such as correction of listing information), and then use “Manage Your Inventory” (Manage Your Inventory) to add inventory quantities in the destination country.
If the seller hasn't enabled the creation of international listings:
You will see a download button to download the product recommendations on the page and directly upload the products you want to sell according to the requirements of different countries of destination:
1) On the UK and Germany sites, use “Add Products by Upload” (not the Amazon template); 2) On the Japan site, continue to use the standard inventory template.
If you haven't registered to go online in the UK, Germany, or Japan, you can directly click “Expand Your Business Internationally” at the top of the page to launch the target marketplace.
Seller FAQ
Will this tool be launched on more sites in the future?
Currently, the tool only supports sites in the UK, Germany, and Japan. Stay tuned for more sites.
How are chance scores calculated?
Opportunity score refers to a recommendation index for predicting product demand using intelligent algorithms to comprehensively consider various factors, such as market demand for the next 120 days, customer browsing history, sales speed, sales conversion rate, etc. The chance score is generally between 750 and 1000. A perfect chance score of 1000 means that your product is in high demand in the corresponding market and has great sales potential in designated sites. Amazon's artificial intelligence algorithm will continuously learn about market trends and update product demand forecasts. Opportunity scores are also updated regularly as your product needs change at different sites around the world. You can view the latest global sales opportunities for your products by clicking on the links above, then download the recommended products to be listed on the UK, Germany, or Japan site.
There are “Global Product Demand” and “Global Release” on the Seller Central homepage. What's the difference between the two?
“Global product demand” is for seller products sold in the US, which are in high demand in other countries (currently open in the UK, Germany, and Japan); while “global listing” refers to the establishment of international product information, and the tool can be used to create and update products from a single source marketplace in one or more target marketplaces.
Have the recommendations given taken into account product compliance requirements?
The recommendations given so far are all products with low compliance risk. Amazon is also working to make product recommendations cover a wider range of products, so stay tuned for future tool upgrades!
