As the 2022 new year begins, Amazon is ready to provide you with a better service in the new year. On this Lunar New Year, Amazon would like to thank you once again for your trust in Amazon and for choosing Amazon this past year.
In 2021, although the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic is still severe, sellers and friends on Amazon Europe have risen to the challenge and carried out their business brilliantly in the face of various difficult challenges such as supply chain bottlenecks and labor shortages.
Your tireless efforts have also inspired Amazon, and Amazon is proud to support sellers during this time: Amazon has invested heavily in fulfillment centers and delivery networks, and introduced powerful tools and quality services to help you grow your business.
In 2021, Amazon provided sellers with more than 250 new tools and is working to further innovate and build a range of programs and services. From Amazon Logistics New Arrivals Promotion Program to inventory value recovery services (clearance and rating and resale), Amazon is committed to helping you expand your product selection, reduce costs, and grow your business.
Over the next year, Amazon will adjust FBA delivery fees. Unless otherwise specified, the Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) shipping fee changes will take effect on March 31, 2022 (0:00 European Time/ 7:00 Beijing time) and will apply to all Amazon European marketplaces (UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, and Poland). This page details upcoming changes to the following fees.
FBA Fulfilment Fee
☑️ The per-item surcharge will be reduced from €0.35 to €0.25 for sellers who ship from German fulfillment centers and are not participating in the Delivery Network Expansion (Central Europe Program).
☑️ To help you sell products across borders between the EU and the UK after Brexit, Amazon will launch a promotion: Amazon will offer a 20% discount on European Delivery Network (EFN) fees between the EU and the UK for a one-year promotional period starting March 31, 2022.
☑️ For domestic shipments to fulfillment centers in Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, an average 50% discount on Amazon Partnered Carrier Program fees will be offered during the one-year promotional period starting April 12, 2022.
Additionally, Amazon will add or remove certain size and weight bands from the shipping fee price list to better reflect delivery costs. For small, standard, and large oversized products, Amazon will use the greater of the item weight or dimensional weight to determine the weight tier for shipping costs.
Inventory handling fees
☑️ Amazon will increase removal and disposal service fees to reflect the increasing cost of removal and disposal services. Clearance processing fees will remain the same and will be lower than removal or disposal services.
☑️ Amazon will increase monthly inventory storage fees for all standard-sized products other than dangerous goods.
☑️ In addition to the current long-term storage fee for inventory that has been stored for more than 365 days, a lower long-term storage fee will also be charged for inventory that has been stored for 331 to 365 days.
* This change does not apply to clothing, footwear, handbags, bags, watches, and jewelry products. Amazon recommends checking your overage inventory and taking appropriate steps (such as reporting deals, clearance, or advertising (Ads)) to clean up the inventory to avoid these charges if the inventory is older than 331 days.
☑️ For clothing, footwear, and handbags products sold through Amazon Logistics and Seller Self-Fulfillment Prime, Amazon will continue to offer a referral fee promotion, reducing the referral fee from 15% (10% in Poland) for the portion of the total sales price over €45/£40/470 SEK/180 PLN. The promotion was originally scheduled to end on March 31, 2022, and will now be extended until March 31, 2023.
* Referral fee thresholds will vary depending on the applicable digital services tax in the country of sale.

☑️ Additionally, Amazon is launching an exciting new program focused on helping new Amazon sellers grow their business in their first year of sales. The New Seller Starter Package will provide a variety of benefits to eligible sellers, including monthly rewards for new sellers who have completed the Brand Registry. These rewards will be made available to eligible sellers for a specified period of time. Amazon will announce more details about the New Seller Starter Pack in Q1 2022.
