Amazon will extend the return period for the peak season at the end of 2022!

Recently, Amazon updated the return policy for the peak season at the end of the year. The following are the main return policy updates on Amazon's major sites compiled by Xiaobian for sellers. Please be aware of them.
USA/Canada Station
Most items sold between October 11 and December 25, 2022 (inclusive) can be returned until January 31, 2023. This policy applies to both seller-shipped (MFN) orders and Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) orders.
Five European countries (English/German/French/Italian/Spanish)

Most items sold between November 1, 2022 and December 31 (inclusive) can be returned until January 31, 2023. This policy applies to both seller-shipped (MFN) orders and Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) orders.
Japan Marketplace
The standard return period is generally 30 days after delivery of the product, but for eligible Amazon Proprietary Products and Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) products purchased by customers between November 1 and December 31, 2022, the return period will be extended until January 31, 2023.
● The Amazon Japan site will be adjusted automatically, and no action is required from the seller.
● For seller-self-delivered (MFN) products, sellers can decide for themselves whether to extend the return period.

Mexico/Belgium station
The peak season return period for these two sites is the same as usual, and there are no updates to the peak season return period extension policy.
*During the peak season at the end of last year, Amazon also implemented the same extended return period program, and the number of product returns did not increase as a result compared to the previous year.
