Classification nodes are one of the eight basic elements of Listing. The loss of sorting nodes limits product exposure and affects sales volume, leading to loss of sales rankings. Therefore, using the right classification nodes is critical to increasing sales.

Generally speaking, there are two natural (unpaid) sources of traffic to product detail pages. The first is a classification node, which is also where consumers find the subcategories they want from large and small, and browse the products in the product categories. Another method is to use consumers to enter search keywords to find matching products. Therefore, the loss of a node will cause sellers to lose a major source of organic traffic!

Best Seller (Best Seller) is a similar concept. Consumers browse the list to find the best-selling products in the category.

You must select the correct node at the beginning; otherwise, after the system is corrected, the accumulated traffic entry will disappear!

Search for “Inventory File Templates, Category Listing Guide, and Category Tree Guide” in Seller Central and click to download the guide based on the product's category. In the category tree guide, you can browse all the nodes under this category and refine them.

Step 1: Click “Manage Inventory” in Seller Central, enter the ASIN number of the product you want to change, click “Search” to find it, and click “Edit” on the right.

Step 2: On the edit page, click “Important Information”, find “Item Type” and click “Edit”.

Step 3: On the “Edit Categories” page that pops up, select the correct leaf node and click “Select”.

Step 1: Download the inventory file template: ① Click “Inventory > Upload Products in Bulk” to open the batch product upload interface; ② select and click “Generate Template”; ③ the “File Template” page will open in another window. Download the template from the inventory file (without macros) for the category in which the product you want to update using the Inventory File Template belongs.

Step 2: Build my inventory file: Refer to the “Data Definitions” and “Examples” table in the inventory file and enter the necessary information into the template. When making batch updates to classification nodes and refinements, please enter the following three items.
Required attributes (product management ID/SKU, title, brand name, etc.); information to be modified (classification node, refinement); update/delete.

Step 3: On the “Bulk Product Upload” page, click “Upload Your Inventory File” to upload the file.

LQD will highlight products whose quality can be improved to sellers, list the products that need to be added and the attributes that need to be added, and prioritize key products; priority can be given to adding product attributes with high display volume. It helps increase the exposure rate of products, and complete attributes can also reduce consumer returns.

Applicable sites: Common to all sites.

Step 1: In the “Inventory-Inventory” drop-down menu, click “Manage Inventory (Manage Inventory)”.

Step 2: Click “Product Information Quality Control Panel”.

Step 3: Check the products that require additional attribute values or directly enter the ASIN/SKU number/product title in the search box to find the corresponding product (if no results are found, it means that the product has no attributes that need to be added).

Step 4: Click “View all x missing attributes” to view all missing properties.

If your product is currently in the wrong category, you must modify it, click Inventory Management, select the product category, find the corresponding Category (item-type value) in More Details, or use the inventory file The template modifies the nodes of multiple products at once.
