Amazon launches the world's first integrated third-party cross-border first-haul logistics solution in China

Shanghai, June 13, 2023 — Today, Amazon's Cross-border Shipping Partner Program (Amazon SEND) was officially opened to Chinese sellers. This is the world's first integrated third-party cross-border first-haul logistics solution launched by Amazon, which will provide a one-stop cross-border first-haul logistics service for cross-border e-commerce sellers. Cross-border e-commerce sellers can directly use the service on the Amazon Seller Platform, and third-party carriers provide a stable, reliable, efficient and cost-effective end-to-end cross-border front-end logistics experience.

Currently, the service has launched an empty delivery warehouse model, and is open to cross-border e-commerce sellers in 7 countries including China, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Germany. It can be delivered to Amazon fulfillment centers in the US, the United Kingdom, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates 1.

With the launch of the third-party air freight service provided by Amazon's Cross-border Shipping Partner Program (Amazon SEND), it will complement the existing self-owned shipping services provided by Amazon Global Logistics (AGL), thus providing more comprehensive cross-border first-line logistics options for different types of cross-border e-commerce sellers.
