If you find that your WEEE product has been discontinued, we recommend that you take the following steps to resume sales:
1. Check your WEEE product ASIN that has been discontinued
2. Confirm that your discontinued WEEE products have fully met WEEE compliance requirements
3. Take action to resume sales
First, log on to Amazon Seller Central to check performance notifications to confirm whether WEEE products have been discontinued; then, check the ASIN of the specific discontinued product through “Data Report > Download EPR Report” and check inventory status.
Step1
Log in to Amazon Seller Central and go to the Performance Notifications page through the path “Performance > Performance Notifications”.
Step2
On the Performance Notifications page, check the seller notification list to see if the following message appears.
If this message appears, it means that you have stopped selling WEEE products. At this point, you'll need to take a closer look at the specific products you've discontinued.
Step3
Download the EPR report via “Data Reports > Inventory and Sales Reports > Extended Producer Responsibility Classification Report” to see what ASINs Amazon has identified as requiring WEEE compliance.
Step4
Use the path “Inventory > Manage All Inventory” to search for your ASIN and check its status.
If the ASIN is “not for sale” and the following message is displayed, it means that the product has been discontinued due to failure to meet WEEE requirements.
<03 采取行动恢复销售>Note that you cannot resume selling by clicking “Request Approval”; you will need to follow the steps described below to resume selling your products.
You must ensure that you have submitted your WEEE registration number and that the verification results are displayed as “valid”.
You can copy the link below to your browser, go to the Amazon Compliance Portal, and click on the 9 device categories one by one to check whether all submission portals have submitted WEEE registration numbers, and they all show “valid”.

*If you have questions about the device type classification, please contact Seller Support.
Scenario 1: Verification results all show “valid”, but WEEE products are still being discontinued
If you have submitted the corresponding WEEE registration number to all the portals shown in the Amazon compliance portal, the verification results are “valid”, but you still have WEEE products suspended from sale, and there is a reminder: “You need to provide a German producer responsibility extension registration number for electrical and electronic equipment waste”. You will then need to contact Seller Support to make an appeal by providing the following information:
a) Seller ID
b) The brand of the WEEE product
c) Type of equipment that has submitted a WEEE registration number
d)ASIN
e) Description of the problem
Situation 2: The WEEE registration number has not been submitted, or the verification results show “invalid”
If you have confirmed it, you find that the compliance portal shows that the verification result is “invalid” or that you have not submitted your registration number.
You need to complete the following two actions to resume sales of the corresponding product:
1. Copy the following link to your browser and follow the prompts to complete the upload and verification of your WEEE number.
2. Once you have uploaded and verified your WEEE number, you will need to resume product sales through “Inventory > Manage All Inventory”.
The detailed steps are as follows
Step1
Select “Inactive” in the “Filter” toolbar to filter the discontinued products in your inventory.
Step2
If you have multiple discontinued products and want to search for a specific one, you can enter the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) number, product title, ISBN number, or ASIN number in the search bar at the top of the page.
Step3
Once you've found the discontinued item you want to restore, click the “Edit” button in the last column.
Step4
The edit page opens in a new browser tab, along with the Offer tab. Do not make any edits.
Step5
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save and finish.
Step6
Once you click Done, you'll be taken back to the “Manage All Inventory” page, and the ASIN is expected to return to active status within an hour. If you have completed the steps above and are still unable to recover your ASIN, please contact Seller Support.
How to resume listings in batches?
If you have a large number of products to restore, we recommend that you choose to restore listings in bulk.
Step1
Go to Amazon Seller Central and follow the path “Data Reports > Inventory Reports” to go to the “Inventory Report” page.
Step2
In the “Select Report Type” drop-down menu at the top of the page, select “Non-Active Listings Report.”
Step3
You can copy the following link to your browser, go to the “Help Page” for instructions on restarting the sale of non-active products, download and fill out the inventory file.

On Amazon Seller Central, follow the path “Catalog > Upload Products in Bulk” and go to the “Bulk Upload Products” page to upload your product files.
Q1
What if all the steps to resume WEEE discontinued products have been completed, and the products still haven't resumed sales?
You will need to contact Seller Support to make an appeal by providing the following information:
a) Seller ID
b) The brand of the WEEE product
c) Type of equipment that has submitted a WEEE registration number
d)ASIN
e) Description of the problem
Q2
What if the appeal log shows “Resolved” but sales still haven't resumed?
For the same issue, the seller can restart the appeal case log, provide a screenshot of the discontinued page and relevant information, and ask the specific reason for the unresolved issue until your issue is resolved.
In addition to WEEE, sellers selling in the EU also need to be aware of their product safety and compliance obligations.
Amazon introduced a new path for submitting product safety and compliance information in February 2023. The new path makes the process simpler because it allows sellers to submit product safety and compliance information with up to six images. These images can show the physical product, all sides of the package, or the accompanying documentation visibly shows all the labels, warnings, and markings that apply to your product.
Please confirm that you have uploaded images of the product safety and compliance labels, warnings, and markings required for each applicable ASIN in Seller Central. If you are the brand owner, you can still upload product user manuals (if applicable).
Today we've also prepared quick questions and answers on product safety and compliance for you!Let's take a look!
Q1
What product categories or ASINs of my products require product safety and compliance images or product brochures?
Depending on the products you sell, it may be helpful to review the following two categories of products: products with a CE mark and products without a CE mark.
If you sell CE marked products, you can find these products by copying the link below to go to the Owner Control Panel:
You can also copy the following link to your browser and read the Amazon help pages to learn more about CE marking:
You can upload images of the physical product, packaging, or accompanying documents, and the images should show the CE mark and any product safety and compliance labels, warnings, and markings applicable to your products to clearly show this information to customers. If you sell toys, you can display a safety warning by the associated label name.
For more information, copy the link below to your browser and refer to the help page:
If you sell products that do not have a CE mark, you can copy the link below to refer to the Product Safety and Compliance help page to learn which products you may need to display safety and compliance information for. Note that this list is not exhaustive. Currently, Amazon is unable to provide a list of ASINs requiring product safety and compliance labels, warnings, and markings for products that do not have a CE mark, as this varies depending on the type of product you are selling. However, if you need to display product safety and compliance information, you can still actively upload safety images of the product, packaging, or attached documents.

Q2
After I upload the product manual, how long will it take for Amazon to validate the product manual and display it on the product listing page?
Once you submit your product manual, it will need to be validated and approved before it can be published on the product listing page to ensure that it complies with Amazon's documentation guidelines. This can take up to seven business days.
Once your product manual has been approved, it will appear on the product listing page under the “Product Guidelines and Documents” subheading. This subheading is located directly above the “Product Description” subheading at the bottom of the product listing page, and you can open the PDF file you provided by following the link in it.
Q3
After uploading a product safety and compliance image or product manual, how can I check if I'm in compliance?
If you have uploaded an image or product brochure (or both), and if they meet Amazon's guidelines, and you are the winner of the image or file, then your image or product brochure (or both) will appear on the product listing page.
When multiple sellers sell the same product through a single product listing page, Amazon's algorithm selects the images and files to be presented. For example, images and files submitted by registered brand owners will be prioritized on product listing pages compared to images and files submitted by other sellers.
In some cases, you may not be able to display the images you have uploaded, but you should be able to view your uploaded images by searching and clicking on the relevant ASIN in the image manager. You can copy the following link to your browser and go to the image manager:
If you can't see your images in the image manager, they may have been removed because they don't meet Amazon's image guidelines. If this is the case, copy the following link to your browser and go to the “Image Issues” help page in Seller Central to learn how to resolve your image issue:
Please note that the compliance information in uploaded images will only be reviewed by Amazon if it becomes aware that the required labels, warnings, or markings may be missing.
Q4
What kind of product safety labels, warnings, and marking information should be included in my product safety and compliance images? Are product safety labels, warnings, and markings required to appear on the package?Or is it on the product itself?
The product safety image upload feature is designed to provide you with additional product image variations to ensure that you can post images showing all sides of your product or its packaging, including product safety and compliance labels, warnings, and markings that already exist on the product and packaging. If the documents included with the product include mandatory labels, warnings, and markings, you should upload an image of the file showing that mandatory information. Depending on the requirements for your product, the required information must be included in these images; other than that, there are no templates for how to display these images, and there are no minimum requirements for how to display them.
Product safety and compliance labels, warnings, and markings may appear on the product, on its packaging, or in accompanying documentation. This depends on the type of product you are selling, so Amazon recommends that you review your products and the requirements associated with them. You can find information about the “Most Important Requirements” by copying the following link to your browser and going to the Product Safety and Compliance help page:
Product safety and compliance images need to capture and display labels, warnings, and markings whether they appear on the product, packaging, or accompanying documents.
Q5
My product itself or package doesn't have six sides. What should I do to comply with product safety and compliance requirements?
Amazon has enabled up to six variations of product safety and compliance images, regardless of size or shape, to ensure that you can provide images of the product, packaging, or accompanying documents. If you can capture the information you need in fewer images, you don't need to use all six slots. If mandatory information is included in the file included with the product, you should upload an image of the file showing that information.
