Amazon remains committed to ensuring the safety of products on all sites, reminding sellers to take responsibility for the products they sell, and to carefully abide by the rules and policies of countries and regions around the world. Providing consumers with high-quality products and a high-quality experience has always been Amazon's goal.
It is worth noting that in order to protect the lives and property safety of people in its member countries, the European Union has successively enacted a series of safety directives, which stipulate that affect all products covered by CE (Precise Euro) Marking, such as toys, electronic appliances, personal protective equipment, medical devices, etc. Whether it is a product produced by an enterprise within the EU or a product produced by other countries, if it is to circulate freely within the European region, CE marking is required to indicate that the product complies with the basic requirements of the EU's “New Method for Technical Coordination and Standardization” Directive. This is a mandatory requirement for products under EU law (products on the UK Amazon site are also subject to this condition).
The CE referred to here is: Consumable Euro is not the commonly understood consumable electronic (consumer electronics). CE (Electrochemical Euro) Marking covers a wide range, such as toys, electronic appliances, personal protective equipment, medical devices, etc. In order to avoid business being affected, Amazon is here to remind sellers selling on European sites that CE Marking is essential in Europe!
01 What is CE Marking?
CE Marking is a manufacturer's self-certification mark for a certain product. A product with CE Marking indicates that the product complies with relevant European Economic Area (EEA) standards, which include health, safety and environmental standards. Furthermore, EU legislation requires manufacturers to issue a corresponding EU declaration of conformity for all CE marked products (see analysis below for details).

02 Which products require CE marking?
We have prepared a complete list of CE Marking products. On Seller Central, we have also summarized the requirements for CE Marking. You can find relevant content by searching “CE Marking” on the help page.

03 How to ensure that products comply with CE Marking regulations?
To ensure that your product complies with CE Marking rules, you can follow the steps below (you can consult your attorney if necessary):
1. To first confirm whether the products you want to sell in the EU Economic Area require CE Marking, please refer to the above list of products affected by CE Marking.
2. For products requiring CE marking, you need to cooperate with the supplier to ensure the following two points:
• The manufacturer has included CE Marking on the product (or packaging), as well as other relevant compliance marks (in some cases, additional documentation may be required).
• Manufacturers are required to provide a copy of the EU Declaration of Conformity (any other proof of compliance such as test reports, CE certificates, etc.) is required.

● What kind of document is the EU DoC?
The EU Declaration of Conformity (DoC) is a written declaration of conformity issued by the manufacturer for CE Marking products. The main purpose is to prove that the product complies with EU requirements for such products.
A DoC declaration of compliance must clearly state the following information:
• The product name, product number (model number), and other product information can match the attributes of the product listed on Amazon.
• EU regulations (directives) applicable to this DoC, which must include corresponding harmonized standards and other technical indicators (EN standards).
• Manufacturer information or EU authorized representative information. If your product has been certified or tested by the appropriate “Notifying Body” (Notifying Body), you can also attach the corresponding information.

Note that when Amazon requires you to submit a DoC, be sure to submit a non-edited version (such as a PDF), and this DoC must include the signature and position of the person responsible.
The EU DoC version below is for your reference only, but most of the information mentioned in it needs to be included.

04 What is remarkable about CE Marking?
• CE Marking does not mean that this product has been approved by the EU authorities. It only indicates that the product has passed the manufacturer's testing (or testing by a third party laboratory) that the product has met the corresponding regulatory requirements and has been approved for sale in the European Economic Area (EEA).
• CE Marking does not necessarily indicate the origin of this product.
