Amazon has always received feedback from many sellers, hoping that the Amazon Logistics Operations Center can handle the receipt and delivery process more quickly, which is very important to the sellers' friends' business.

Amazon US is about to gradually launch a new required item in the “Send to Amazon” (Send to Amazon) workflow: when you create a shipment, the process will ask you to provide an estimated “delivery window” (Delivery Window), which is the expected date range for your shipment to arrive at the fulfillment center.
Amazon uses the estimated delivery times you provide to understand when your shipments will arrive, better plan operations, process your shipments faster, get your products in stock faster, and help make the process more predictable.
Given the uncertainty of delivery times themselves, Amazon only requires that you provide a date range, not a specific date.

A “delivery window” is an estimated date range of when you expect your shipment to arrive at our fulfillment center. Starting April 24, 2023, if you use a non-partnered carrier to ship small packages or LTL shipments, you must provide an estimated delivery time when creating a shipment using Send to Amazon.

Amazon will continue to track the performance of your shipments and notify you when shipments arrive earlier or later than the estimated date range you provided, so you can work with your carrier to provide a more accurate estimate of time for future shipments. There are no penalties for missing the estimated time of arrival, and no action is enforced by Amazon.

When you create a shipment using “Send to Amazon” (Send to Amazon), if you choose to ship the small package through a non-Amazon partnered carrier, then specify the delivery time period in the “Delivery Window” (Delivery Window) required field at the bottom of the page in Step 2: Confirm Shipment.

If you choose to use a non-partnered carrier to ship your LTL shipment, then select “Use a non-partnered carrier to transport palletized shipments” in Step 4: Confirm Carrier and Pallet Information, then specify the delivery time in the required “Delivery Window” (Delivery Window) fields that appear at the bottom of the page.

If your shipping plans change, you can update the dates you have filled in before the delivery time period you previously filled in.

💡A:
You can update the date range before the delivery window you filled in. If you miss the delivery window, Amazon will notify you in the “Shipment Processing Progress” (the feature will be launched on May 21, local time) so you can work with your carrier to provide a more accurate time estimate for future shipments. Currently, there are no penalties for missing the estimated time of arrival, and Amazon is not enforcing any action.
