You can obtain an appeal path when you receive a brand application rejection reminder and email notification.
As shown in the image above, you can click the appeal link and log in to the Amazon Brand Registry portal to enter the appeal process.
Method 2
You can view it by logging into the Amazon Brand Registry backend and going to Administration > Brand Applications.
You can use the following path to submit your appeal:
Step1
Click on your appeal link, log in to the Amazon Brand Registry portal, go to the appeal page, and fill in your brand information.
Step2
Fill in your product information.
Step3
Verify the information and submit an appeal request.
If no additional action is required, the estimated time to resolve an appeal is approximately 9 business days.
In some cases, Amazon may require video verification from sellers during the brand registry appeal process to help Amazon gather relevant information by introducing and showcasing your brand to Amazon as a reference for processing appeal requests. If you are invited to participate in the video verification, you will receive the following prompt via email. You need to schedule a video verification within 7 working days of receiving the email. Therefore, when you receive the email, we recommend that you respond promptly and schedule a time for your video verification meeting. Here are some detailed preparation suggestions for video verification. Quickly use these tips and say goodbye to the hustle and bustle of video verification!
Amazon will do its best to schedule the video verification session at a time that is most convenient for you. Once you have submitted an appointment, Amazon will send you an invitation detailing how to join the conference and more. In rare cases, if Amazon is unable to schedule a video verification meeting for you within the time slot you have submitted, you will be sent an email notification inviting you to reschedule.
Once you've finalized the video verification meeting time, you'll receive an invitation to join the video verification and details of the steps to join. Once you've received this notification, you can prepare for video certification ahead of time by following these tips:
1 Prepare proof of identity
Amazon will require you to present your identification documents during video verification to verify your ownership of the brand/trademark and confirm your relationship with the brand.
2 Carrying products
You must carry every type of product you sell, including at least 50 minimum sellable units, and make a list of the products involved.
3 Prepare the sample for sampling
During the video verification process, Amazon staff will randomly select a sample of a product, and you will need to follow the staff's instructions to open the sample to complete verification.
4 Ensure that the verification environment is well-lit
Please attend the video verification session in a well-lit environment to ensure Amazon staff can clearly see your brand's products and packaging.
5 Highlight the brand's products and their names
You'll need to highlight your brand's products and their brand name, products from the entire product line, and all product units you've brought in during the video verification session.
Note: To protect your privacy, Amazon does not record a video verification process. The estimated verification time is 30 minutes.
Amazon recommends that brand owners/trademark owners attend video certification in person. If you are a brand owner and are unable to attend the video certification meeting, you can also choose to authorize brand insiders (such as manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, etc.) to attend as representatives and present the following documents:
1 Video verification of attendees' personal ID cards, passports, driver's licenses, etc.
2 A letter of authorization signed by the brand owner to confirm their connection with the brand owner/trademark owner.
If the trademark is held in the name of a company, in addition to the above two documents, video verification participants must also present a business license or business registration certificate showing the name of the company holder and the company name, and prove the relationship with the company holding the trademark. If the above conditions are met, the legal representative of the trademark holding company is not required to attend the video verification meeting.
If your products aren't already sold on Amazon
If you are carrying 50 products that have not been sold online on Amazon, they are also acceptable to Amazon if they meet the following conditions:
1 The product you are bringing is a branded product for which you have applied for brand registration.
2 The product you are carrying matches the trademark category/category you applied for brand registration.
If your product is heavy, you can't carry 50 pieces
Amazon will handle specific cases as appropriate, taking into account factors such as product category and inventory size. If your product inventory is distributed in different warehouses, or if your manufacturer is located in different locations, consider the following options:
1 Schedule warehouse staff to join the video verification meeting by sharing the details of the video conference.
2 Conduct a video verification session at the warehouse.
3 Reschedule the video verification meeting at 发送邮件至br-verification@amazon.com according to your time requirements.
If your usual office address doesn't have the relevant product in stock
You can choose to have a video verification session at your warehouse or manufacturer to allow Amazon to verify your products.
If you have less than 50 products in stock
Amazon will take into account the seller's special circumstances. If your product is a perishable product or an on-demand product, and the product is under 50 items in stock before video verification, please bring your available inventory if possible and show Amazon your production equipment, production line, or raw materials, etc.
If you are unable to attend the video verification meeting as scheduled, you can choose to reschedule. Please contact 至少提前48小时发送邮件至br-verification@amazon.com to have Amazon reschedule a new video verification meeting for you.
Please pay attention to and check the video verification invitation email promptly, click the link in the email to check the time slots and time zones currently supported by Amazon, and reserve a video verification time according to your circumstances. Once the appointment is confirmed, Amazon will send you a new email detailing the video verification meeting process and providing a link to the video verification meeting.
