!Important Reminder
Dear seller, the strict implementation of EU battery regulations is within easy reach. Battery-containing products that do not provide a valid registration number will face the risk of being removed from the shelves one after another on August 18 or earlier, and pan-European delivery rights may also be affected. We have noticed that some sellers have yet to complete compliance. To ensure that your battery-containing products can continue to be sold normally in the EU market, be sure to check your registration status and complete platform verification immediately!
There are less than 30 days left until the deadline, so check your compliance status now!
✅ A seller who has completed registration but has not uploaded verification? Please submit your EPR number in the back office, otherwise registration will be for nothing!
Complete the following actions immediately:
1 Upload verification, please select the upload portal according to the country
● Germany/Netherlands/Poland/Sweden/Ireland: Proposals submitted through [Account Status > Regulatory Compliance]
● Belgium/Spain/Italy: Submitted through “Account Status > Submit Compliance Information”
⚠ Key upload notes:
● If the number changes due to re-registration due to German AR (Authorized Representative) issues, please be sure to submit the latest number.
● When submitting the battery EPR number you registered for your store, do not check the “I am not a manufacturer” check box.
● Make sure you can check the registration information on the official registrar's website before submitting it.
● Special reminder from the Netherlands: Chinese sellers can use a value-added tax (VAT) number instead of a KVK number for upload verification.

❓ What impact will the failure to complete battery EPR compliance in Germany or the Netherlands have on the pan-European plan?
A: If you do not complete battery EPR compliance in Germany and the Netherlands in a timely manner, the affected products will be discontinued, and you will lose your eligibility for Pan-European Program benefits in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands.
This is because one of the requirements for joining the Pan-European Program is that your products need to be sold simultaneously in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands. If these countries' compliance requirements are not met, the relevant products will not be able to continue participating in the Pan-European Program. Therefore, Amazon recommends that you complete battery EPR registration in Germany and the Netherlands as soon as possible to ensure compliant sales and continue to enjoy the benefits of the Pan-European Program.
❓ I sell battery/battery-containing products in the EU, and my company's registered address is in China. Can I use the upstream supplier's registration number to comply?
A: No. As defined by the EU Battery Regulation, you are a producer, and you are responsible for complying with all requirements of EU battery regulations, including registering in every country/region considered a “producer”. As a result, you cannot rely on an upstream vendor's registration number to meet your compliance obligations. You must complete the registration process yourself and obtain your own producer registration number.
❓ Which countries can offer cash on delivery services now?
A: Currently, France and Belgium currently support cash on delivery services. Amazon in other countries will update in Q3 this year. Please pay attention to the platform notice.
❓ I need help, where can I find a service provider?
A: Previously, many Amazon SPN service providers provided exclusive registration discounts for Amazon sellers. Now this offer has been upgraded again. The offer ends on December 31, 2025!, you can get it by clicking on the link.
