When is Prime Day 2017?
Second week of July. Amazon website traffic will increase around Prime Day. The arrival of traffic means the arrival of orders, so everyone must prepare in advance.
How to prepare for Prime Day?
1. Prepare the goods in advance and enter the warehouse
Especially for top ASINs, it is important to speed up production and prepare goods in advance. There's nothing more frustrating than “Out Of Stock” during peak traffic. Imagine getting a steady stream of Prime Day traffic and you're out of stock.
From now on, you'll be ready to ship to Amazon's overseas warehouses. In order to avoid being unable to enter the warehouse immediately due to excessive warehouse pressure a few days before Prime Day, we recommend that all sellers complete FBA warehousing from the end of June to the beginning of July. Among them, in North America, we recommend completing the warehouse entry on June 20. You can set up an automatic restock reminder yourself through your seller account to ensure you have sufficient inventory around Prime Day.
2. Grab traffic
Lightning Deals are traffic, and behind the traffic is sales volume and brand awareness.
Prime Day's flash deals are currently invitation-only
For Prime Day, Amazon's back-office system has an algorithm that automatically invites your products in mid-May. So be sure to keep an eye on Seller Central in the near future to see if any of your products have been invited to use the Prime Day Lightning Deal. If you have a Lightning Deal qualifying for the event, you will also receive an email notification reminder. If there is a recommendation, remember to choose to do the Prime Day window event and complete the report as soon as possible.
How can I increase my chances of being invited to the Prime Day Lightning Deal?
To get Prime Day Lightning Deals recommendations, you can prepare now: select the products you are most confident in, use the graphic brand description (A+) to optimize the page for these products; use “Lightning Deals” and “Amazon Product Promotions” to increase sales and increase their chances of being recommended for Prime Day Lightning Deals!
In particular, “Amazon Sponsored Products” is also known as “keyword advertising” by sellers. As the name suggests, it is a form of advertising that uses keywords to match user searches to accurately target products on Amazon, and charges a fee based on the actual number of clicks. Because it is close to the consumer's purchasing decision terminal, it is easier to increase sales opportunities. When using “Amazon Product Promotion,” keyword optimization takes a certain amount of time, so be sure to prepare in advance for Prime Day and be careful to target some keywords in a targeted manner.
I haven't been invited to the Prime Day Lightning Deal, what should I do?
If your products don't receive Prime Day Lightning Deals, you can continue to use Amazon Sponsored Products during Prime Day. After all, during Prime Day, there was a significant increase in overall traffic to the Amazon site, and the number of clicks and sales of your products will increase accordingly.
