(Version updated to April 6, 2017)
Please refer to the original sales policy on the local site. The Chinese translation is for reference only
The products you list may result in the cancellation of your product listings or the suspension or removal of your selling privileges if they infringe the intellectual property rights of others. Sellers are responsible for ensuring that the products they offer are legitimate and that they have obtained the relevant authorization to sell or resell them.
Amazon may remove or modify the content of a product detail page or product information without prior notice if it believes the content is prohibited, suspected of being illegal, or inappropriate. Amazon reserves the right to determine whether the content is appropriate. Amazon complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act notice removal process and will terminate the selling privileges of sellers who have repeatedly infringed others' intellectual property rights.
Note: The relevant policies described in this guide are in addition to, and do not limit in any way, your other obligations under seller agreements or other documents.
Examples of Prohibited Listings
Counterfeit products: Products sold by sellers on Amazon must be authentic. Any product that has been illegally replicated, reproduced, or manufactured is prohibited.

Trademarks: Trademarks are words, signs, colors, sounds, or any combination of the above used to identify the origin of a product. Trademarks are used to distinguish one's own goods and services from those offered by others, and to indicate the origin of the goods or services. For example, the Amazon trademark indicates that retail services are provided by Amazon and not by any other source. Any name or design relating to a product or service may be a trademark. Amazon prohibits the listing of products and product information that infringes other people's trademarks. You must obtain proper permission from another person before using their trademarks.

Copyright: Copyright is used to protect original works (such as books, music, works of art, or photographs). Amazon prohibits posting content that infringes someone else's copyright. You must obtain proper permission from another person before you can use their copyright.

Patents: As a seller, you are responsible for ensuring that your products do not infringe the patent rights of others. A patent is a type of property right granted by the government to an owner that prohibits others from manufacturing, using, introducing, offering, or selling the property (idea) stated in the patent within the country/region where the patent was issued. You can think of it as some kind of property right, such as ownership of a home. As a homeowner, you have the right to prevent others from entering unlawfully (such as entering your home) because the government has granted you the right to the property. Similarly, patent owners have the right to prohibit others from unlawfully infringing (such as manufacturing, using, introducing, offering, or selling) the invention stated in the patent because the government has granted the owner the right to prohibit others from manufacturing, using, introducing, offering, or selling the patented invention.

Unauthorized and unlicensed products: All products sold on Amazon must be commercially manufactured, authorized, or approved for sale as retail products. Please refer to our rules regarding the sale of textbooks. (See Collectible Book Requirements for exceptions to this policy. )

Reprinted media products: Illegal sale of media products (including books, movies, CDs, TV shows, software, video games, etc.) that have been copied, dubbed, assembled, or converted without the permission of the holder is prohibited. This includes:
Books: Unauthorized copies of books are prohibited.
Music: Pirated records, unauthorized live concerts, unauthorized soundboard recordings, and unauthorized products are prohibited.
Movies: Unauthorized copies of films of any kind are prohibited. Unreleased/pre-released films, preview videos, trailers, unreleased or unauthorized film scripts (without ISBN numbers), electronic news materials, and unauthorized props are prohibited.
Photos: Unauthorized copies of photos are prohibited.
Radio shows and concerts: Unauthorized ripping or copying of audio recordings of radio programs is prohibited.
Software: Reproduction of software or software copies of any kind is prohibited. Academic, OEM, backup, complete, promotional, beta (pre-release), unlicensed freeware/shareware, and softcore software are prohibited. Please refer to our rules for selling software.
TV shows: Unauthorized TV program footage (including pay-per-view programs), unpublished programs, unauthorized screenplays, unauthorized props, and audition videos are prohibited.
Video games: Video games sold on Amazon must be full retail editions. Reproduction and conversion of video games is prohibited. At the same time, it is also prohibited to convert chips, silver disks, video game emulators, Sega boot disks, game boosters, unauthorized video game compilations, unauthorized video game product packages, and unauthorized accessories.
Converted media products: Converting media products from one format to another is prohibited. This includes but is not limited to: films converted from NTSC to Pal and Pal to NTSC, laser disc to video, television to video, CD-ROM to cassette tape, from the Internet to any digital format and so on.

Promotional media products: Promotional editions of media products, including books (trial copies and unproofread samples), music, and videos (preview videos) are prohibited. These products are for promotional purposes only and are generally not authorized for retail distribution or sale. (See Collectible Book Requirements for exceptions to this policy. )

Right to Publicity: You are responsible for ensuring that your products and product information do not violate others' right to disclosure. For example, you must obtain proper permission from the relevant party before using images and names of celebrities in product listings or products. This includes celebrity product endorsements and the use of celebrity portraits on products or promotional materials (such as posters, mouse pads, watches, digital photo collections, advertisements, etc.).
