Ensuring product quality
Customers trust that they can always buy with confidence on Amazon. As a seller, make sure you understand Amazon's guidelines on product quality and product authenticity. Doing so will not only help you increase your chances of successfully doing business on Amazon, but it will also help you avoid behaviors that may cause your products to be blocked or even unable to sell on Amazon.

Types of violations
Violations affecting product quality can be broadly classified as “serious mismatches” and “intellectual property” violations:
“Significantly Mismatched” Product Violations: The products you list and ship must be exactly as described and pictured on the corresponding product detail page. Listing or shipping “seriously mismatched” products is in violation of Amazon policies, such as:

Amazon will make the final determination of whether the product is seriously mismatched.
If you sell a seriously mismatched item, you should be willing to refund or exchange the customer. If you refuse a refund or exchange, the buyer can get a refund through the Amazon Marketplace Transaction Guarantee claim.

Intellectual Property Infringement: Amazon respects the intellectual property rights of others. As a seller, you are responsible for ensuring that the products you offer are legal and authorized to be sold or resold, and that these products do not infringe the intellectual property rights of others, such as copyright, patent rights, trademark rights, and publicity rights.
Examples of “intellectual property” violations:
