Energy labeling requirements
Applies to products with energy labels that are sold or used within the EU.

General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR)
This regulation requires all non-food consumer products to have a designated EU responsible person. The contact information for the EU responsible person and the manufacturer, as well as safety warning information, must be displayed on product labels and the product detail page.
Fulfillment House Due Diligence Scheme (FHDDS)
This regulation requires sellers in the UK marketplace to provide an Import Entry Number (IEN) for products that enter an Amazon UK fulfillment center on or after January 1, 2024.
Country of Origin Information (COO)
This regulation requires sellers to provide Country of origin (COO) information for products shipped cross-border through the FBA Export program, imported into the EU from non-EU countries/regions, or imported into the UK from EU and non-EU countries/regions.

Product compliance policy
When selling products in the Amazon store, you must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and Amazon policies for your products and listings.

Commercial liability insurance
Sellers must take out and maintain commercial liability insurance within 30 days when gross monthly sales revenue exceeds $10,000 or when Amazon specifically requires it.

INFORM Consumers Act
If, within the past 24 months, a seller has sold at least 200 new products (or unused products) over any 12 consecutive months and the total transaction amount exceeds $5,000, they need to complete verification under the INFORM Consumers Act;

Product compliance policy
Certain products cannot be listed or sold in the Amazon store because they are restricted by laws and regulations or violate Amazon policies. To comply with laws and regulations, ensure product safety, and provide buyers with the best experience, Amazon also restricts the sale of certain products.

Japan Consumption Tax (JCT)
Effective October 1, 2023, the new Qualified Invoice Retention System for Japanese Consumption Tax (JCT) compliance will officially take effect. Sellers required to register for JCT must provide their JCT registration number on invoices so that business buyers can compliantly claim JCT input tax credits.

Product compliance policy
Product listings cannot be created for certain products or product categories without prior approval from Amazon. Certain products may not be listed or sold on the Amazon Marketplace due to laws, regulations or Amazon policies.

Middle East Value Added Tax (VAT)
Sellers who are not residents of the United Arab Emirates/Saudi Arabia and sell products locally in the United Arab Emirates/Saudi Arabia through Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) must register for a local VAT number within 30 days of their first FBA sale.

Account Health Assurance
Available to professional sellers who consistently maintain high Account Health ratings. When contacted by Amazon, sellers participating in this program will not have their selling accounts suspended as long as they cooperate within 72 hours to resolve the issue.
