Nanjing Tengya Precision Co., Ltd. worked in the 25th's.
To do ODM/OEM for international brands, precision manufacturing is a dependable skill. But in these two years, foreign trade orders have declined, and profits are getting thinner and thinner. The management realized that the model of only producing and not touching the brand cannot continue.
In the spring of 2025, Tengya decided to do it herself.

🤖 The first garden robot launched in April became the best seller in the Amazon segment in the first month. More than 150,000 units were shipped during the busiest 20 days of the peak season.
❓ [How to set up a team]
The factory is in Nanjing, and the cross-border e-commerce talents are mainly in Shenzhen.
Instead of dragging people to the factory, Tengya set up a branch office in Shenzhen. In 2 months, we formed a key team for operation, marketing, and product development.
The front-line headquarters is in Shenzhen, and the rear factory is in Nanjing. They do their own work.

❓ [How to choose a product]
Teng Ya chose a garden robot. This type of product is extremely seasonal, and the golden window is April to July. If you miss it, you'll have to wait a year.
In the past, when it was OEM, the core indicator was durability. As a brand now, for European and American home users, the demand has changed:
• Users want to be small in size and easy to store
• It must be easy to operate and ready to use out of the box
• Don't want to mess with wiring or nail electronic fences
💡 Tenya has adjusted the product design:
• Eliminate electronic fences without wiring
• Using visual obstacle avoidance technology, the camera recognizes its own boundaries
• Start the machine with one click and work automatically on the lawn
✅ What appears frequently in user reviews is “easy to use” and “smart.”

❓ [How to catch hot orders]
The front end blew up, and the back end had to keep up.
Many brands die at this stage. Tenya's bottom line is that the three core components of the motor, battery pack, and electronic control are all produced in-house.
What does this mean?
• Controllable costs, no need to be bogged down by upstream
• Stable supply, production capacity decides on its own
• Iterative autonomy, change when you want
✅ The Nanjing factory automation production line operates 24 hours a day, and 150,000 units are shipped in 20 days during the peak season.
📝 For large seasonal products such as garden robots, Tenya has also done a few things:
• Make sales forecasts in advance and set inventory alerts
• Shipped in batches without pressing the full amount at once
• Seek out supplier accounts and stop cash flow
✅ The cross-border business was launched less than a year ago and already accounts for 30% of total revenue. Both the US and European stations have already been set up.

The story of Tengya Seiko is a microcosm of Made in China from behind the scenes to the brand going overseas. 25 years of technology accumulation is the driving force, precise strategic choices are the key, and Amazon has provided it with a stage to link to the global site market. It also confirms that traditional manufacturing has never lacked potential; what is needed is to dare to break through comfort zones.
