🔹 Lithium-ion (including lithium polymer) batteries: 20 <watt-hours ≤ 60; lithium metal batteries: 1 <grams ≤ 5
Country/region where warehousing is permitted: Canada, India, Japan, the United States;
Country/region where warehousing is denied: Australia, Brazil, China, Europe, Mexico, Middle East, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey.

🔹 Lithium ion (including lithium polymer) batteries: >60 WHr; lithium metal batteries: >5 grams
Country/region where warehousing is permitted: India, Japan;
Country/region where warehousing is denied: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Europe, Mexico, Middle East, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, and the United States.

🔹 0-≤100 watt-hour; lithium metal battery: 0-≤2 grams
Country/region where warehousing is permitted: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Europe, India, Japan, Mexico, Middle East, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, and the United States.

🔹 Lithium-ion (including lithium polymer) batteries: 100 <watt-hours ≤ 300; lithium metal batteries: 2 <grams ≤ 25
Country/region where warehousing is permitted: Canada, India, Japan, the United States;
Country/region where warehousing is denied: Australia, Brazil, China, Europe, Mexico, Middle East, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey.

🔹 Lithium ion (including lithium polymer) batteries: >300 WHr; lithium metal batteries: >25 grams
Country/region where warehousing is permitted: India, Japan;
Country/region where warehousing is denied: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Europe, Mexico, Middle East, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, and the United States.

☆ Tips:
✅ Watt-hour information is usually printed on the battery, on the battery package, or in the manufacturer's documentation.
✅ If watt-hours are not printed in the above locations, you can calculate watt-hours based on the battery voltage (volts) and ampere-hour (amp-hour) ratings. Battery voltage and ampere-hour ratings are also usually printed on the battery, battery packaging, or manufacturer's documentation.
✅ When calculating watt-hours, the battery's rated voltage (usually only shown as “voltage”) should be used and not confused with “input voltage”, “output voltage”, or “maximum charging voltage.”

When creating a product or converting a product to a Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) product, you must provide all battery-related information for the product. If the battery information you provide is incomplete, inaccurate, or conflicting, Amazon may not allow you to sell products through Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA).

As of January 1, 2020, UN 38.3 requires lithium battery manufacturers and distributors to provide a document called “Lithium Battery Test Summary” upon request. This requirement will be enforced via country-specific regulations.
