The seller qualification review process for all sellers who are about to sell or are already selling in Amazon Brazil has gradually rolled out!
According to Brazilian regulations, all sellers must provide Amazon with specific information and documents for identity verification, but the timing of when the review is triggered may vary. Before selling, sellers may encounter identity verification on the Brazil Marketplace. You can start selling on Amazon only after your account has been successfully verified.
When is Brazilian Marketplace qualification review required?
All sellers who need to sell on Amazon.br must complete the Brazil Marketplace qualification review. If they do not pass the review, they will not be able to start selling on the Brazil Marketplace. Depending on each seller’s actual situation, the situations that require review may also differ. There are mainly the following two situations:
Scenario 1: sellers who are not yet selling on the Brazil Marketplace
● For sellers who are not yet selling on the Brazil Marketplace (including newly registered sellers and sellers who already sell on other Amazon Marketplaces but not on the Brazil Marketplace).
● You must first pass the Brazil Marketplace qualification review. Only after your account has been successfully and fully verified can you start selling on the Brazil Marketplace; otherwise, you won’t be able to get selling permissions.
Scenario 2: Sellers already selling on the Brazil Marketplace
● All sellers already selling on the Brazil Marketplace will be required to undergo a Brazil Marketplace qualification review, including sellers using the Remote Fulfillment Program (NARF) to sell to consumers in Brazil through their US stores.
● Different sellers may be prompted to start the review at different times. Amazon will notify sellers by email or through the Account Info page in Seller Central to start the review. After the review is triggered, sellers must complete verification within 60 calendar days. If you do not complete the reverification within 60 calendar days, your permissions to sell and disburse funds may be restricted.
